GONE TOO SOON, TRINITY GAY
It’s very unfortunate when a parent has to see their child laid to rest prematurely. Trinity Gay, 15-year-old daughter of Olympian was shot and killed early morning in Kentucky. She was caught between a shootout, struck in the neck by a bullet, then later pronounce dead at 4:41 a.m. on Sunday, 10/17/2016. The shootout took place at the Cook Out restaurant near the University of Kentucky campus.
Trinity Gay was also an athlete herself. She was a promising sprinter was a state champion in the 200m event, and received placed fourth in the state for the 100m event. She was a student at .
“She didn’t make it,” Tyson Gay said. “I’m so confused. She was just here last week for fall break. It’s so crazy. I have no idea what happened.”
